First Alert Forecast: Weekend Weather Outlook

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – While rain continues to leave the Mid State this morning, cooler air will move in briefly before the end of the week

We’ll battle it out with the clouds this afternoon, but we should see some more sun later in the day. It will be MUCH cooler today, with highs staying in the 60s.

Tonight will be partly clear with lows in the lower and mid 50s by tomorrow morning.

THIS WEEKEND

I can’t completely rule out an isolated rain shower Saturday and Sunday, but the weekend looks mostly dry and warmer with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees on Saturday and Sunday. Every day will be partly sunny.

Don’t forget that this weekend we’re turning our clocks back one hour because Daylight Savings Time is over!

NEXT WEEK

It will be windy again on Monday with wind gusts of around 30 kilometers per hour in the afternoon. We will mix clouds and sunshine for the day with highs in the low 80s for the afternoon.

Another cold front approaches the Mid State on Tuesday. Showers are expected later in the day and overnight.

Some of that rain will continue into Wednesday and perhaps even Thursday, with highs in the low 70s.
