Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash on Oahu's north shore

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said a motorcyclist is in critical condition after a crash on Oahu’s North Shore.

Officials said the crash involved a motorcycle and a car. It happened on Kamehameha Highway near Ke Nui Road around 4:45 p.m.

EMS said a 26-year-old man was treated and taken to a nearby hospital. The woman driving the car was in stable condition.

Authorities initially closed Kamehameha Highway toward Haleiwa, then closed both directions shortly before 8 p.m.

The highway was open again around 9 p.m
