MCC Announces NEET PG 2024 Counseling Dates; check mcc.nic.in for more details – Education News

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has announced the schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) counseling for 2024. Interested candidates can find the detailed schedule on the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.

As per the timeline of the National Medical Sciences Examination Board (NBEMS), the verification of the seat matrix will take place on November 7. After this, candidates can apply from November 8 to November 17, with the deadline at 11:55 PM.

The seat allocation process will begin on November 18 and end on November 19. The results for the first round will be announced on November 20 and candidates must apply for admission between November 21 and November 27.

Fill and lock selection: November 8 to November 17

Seat assignment result: November 20

Report/participate: November 21 to November 27

Key dates for round 2:

Verification and payment: December 4 to December 9

Fill and lock selection: December 5 to December 9

Seat assignment result: December 12

Report/participate: December 13 to December 20

Key dates for round 3:

Verification and payment: December 26 to January 1

Fill and lock selection: December 27 to January 1

Seat assignment result: January 4

Report/participate: January 6 to January 13

Important dates for round 4:

Verification and payment: December 18 to January 21

Fill and lock selection: January 22 to January 23

Seat assignment result: January 24

Report/participate: January 25 to January 30

The NEET PG counseling will consist of four rounds, including the All India Quota (AIQ) rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and a stray vacancy round. All candidates who qualify for AIQ seats based on their NEET PG ranks are eligible to participate in this counseling process. Registration for round 1 is currently open.

The Directorate General of Health Services, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has been tasked with conducting online counseling for 50% of the All India Quota (AIQ) medical and dental seats.
