HOUSTON – A fourth person connected to a million dollar company in Houston a cheating scandal involving hundreds of unqualified teachers Obtaining a certificate to teach at several local schools is now behind bars.

Darian Nikole Wilhite, 22, a proctor at TACTIX, is accused of taking bribes to serve as a testing proxy for candidates trying to obtain their teaching certificates.

According to the prosecutor, she was one of five people named in the investigation Kim OggBut three former HISD employees taken into custody on Monday. Vincent Grayson57, was the head boys basketball coach at Booker T. Washington High School in Houston accused as the “linchpin” in the cheating scheme. According to court documents, Wilhite was paid $250 in cash by Coach Grayson each time she allowed Newton to test instead of the appropriate candidate.

Wilhite was arrested Friday night and appeared before a District Court judge, where her bond was set at a total of $75,000.
