Check your ballot status for Philly and Montgomery County voters here

For the first time, election officials in Philadelphia and Montgomery County are publishing a daily updated list of voters whose mail-in ballots contain deficiencies.

If you or someone you know voted by mail in Philadelphia or Montco, you can use the search tool below to find out if their ballots were among the nearly 15,000 in those two counties flagged for an issue. Common problems include missing signatures, incomplete addresses, and missing non-disclosure envelopes.

Good news: If you submitted an incorrect ballot, there is still time to have your vote counted.

If you are casting your mail-in ballot in another county, you can find out if your ballot has been marked (or simply see if it has been received and processed) by using the voting status search function through the Pennsylvania Department of State.

How to fix a defective mail-in ballot in Philadelphia

It’s too close to Election Day to request a replacement ballot by mail. City Commissioner Seth Bluestein said voters who want to correct their ballot between now and Election Day, which is Nov. 5, should go in person to City Hill or one of the city’s 10 satellite election offices. An appointment is not necessary. Click here for office address and opening hours. Voters with disabilities can send a designated agent to collect their materials by completing them this form.
