Man seriously injured in two-vehicle collision

DUNKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (KAIT) – A Paragould man suffered serious injuries in a crash early Friday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred at 6:50 a.m. on Nov. 1 on Highway 164, ten miles west of Steele in Dunklin County.

According to the crash report, 36-year-old Branden S. Vaughn was eastbound when his 2010 Ford F-150 crossed into the path of an oncoming 2001 Ford Shuttle Bus driven by 52-year-old Larry L. Jarrett of Campbell.

After the collision, Vaughn’s pickup truck went off the left side of the roadway and struck an embankment.

An ambulance took him to Arkansas Methodist Medical Center with serious injuries.

According to MSHP’s report, Jarrett was not injured.
