1 suffers minor injuries after colliding with a garbage truck on New Circle Road

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – One person suffered minor injuries and was cited for reckless driving after a crash involving an SUV and a privately owned garbage truck in Lexington on New Circle Road on Friday, according to Lexington police.

Police say the crash happened at the inner loop exit ramp at Leestown Road at 3:39 p.m. They also say that just before the crash, dispatchers received a call about a reckless driver on New Circle, and the driver of the SUV was cited for reckless driving.
