Montana Democratic federal, state candidates host rally in Bozeman

Democratic candidates from Montana for federal and state offices hosted a Get Out The Vote rally in Bozeman on Friday evening — one of several planned this weekend in the final stretch toward Election Day.

Dozens of Gallatin County residents attended Friday’s meeting.

The crowd heard from U.S. Senator Jon Tester, candidates for governor and lieutenant governor Ryan Busse and Raph Graybill and more.

Each speaker shared how crucial it is to vote and how Gallatin County voters will potentially make a difference in Tuesday’s election.

“Gallatin County is a fast-growing county and getting those people to come out and vote. And make sure they find their polling stations. Make sure we make voting as easy as possible for people who need to vote,” Tester said.

“If people want their rents to go down, if they want their property taxes to go down, they should vote against Governor Gianforte, and Gallatin County is going to do that. They’re going to line up, and I know they’re going to do it,” Busse said.
