Man killed after being shot multiple times in West Philadelphia: officials

WEST PHILADELFIA – Gun violence claims the life of a 31-year-old man after he was shot multiple times on a West Philadelphia street.

According to authorities, the gunfire broke out on the 5900 block of Callowhill Street on Friday evening just after 9 p.m.

First responders found the man with multiple gunshot wounds all over his body.

Police rushed him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he died.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation. They are working on the scene, but no weapons have been recovered and no arrests have been made.
