Friends and family are supporting a woman who was left in a coma after a serious crash on US 60

APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz.A Valley woman is recovering tonight from a serious accident in which a truck made a cut on U.S. 60, throwing pipes and a utility pole onto her car.

She was put into a coma, but friends and family are behind her to keep her business going.

They received good news from the hospital.

Victoria Cardenas, who is 26 years old, has opened her eyes and shown reactions to visual simuli. However, there is still a long road to recovery.

Images of the crash show the severity of the crash accidentbut Victoria miraculously survived.

“It’s a miracle. If anyone saw the wreckage or the scene, there wasn’t much left. All that was left was my daughter,” said her mother, Amber.

Victoria is the owner of Mudslingers at the Goldfield gold mine Apache connectiona company where she sells her own pottery.

Friends and family run her shop in her absence to ensure it continues to thrive.

“She’s so loved she’s such a wonderful person. I’m so blessed and lucky to have her as my friend. I’m sorry, I just love her so much,” said her friend Cameryn Lucia.

Emotional support is pouring in for Victoria, who is much loved and considered a wonderful person.

After undergoing surgery, Victoria was sedated, a measure to aid her healing process.

While her affairs are handled by her community, her family can focus solely on her recovery.

“The miracle is I know God wants her here for a reason and she’s still alive for a reason and my baby will wake up,” Amber said.

Victoria’s family has set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for her treatment and new pottery equipment, especially since her hand was badly injured in the crash.

There is no indication yet when Victoria will leave the hospital.
