Woman Allegedly Uses Pickup Truck to Attack Husband and Husband’s Pregnant Girlfriend | News

A 58-year-old woman was arrested Friday on suspicion of multiple crimes stemming from an incident.

Just after 11 a.m. Friday, Guam Police Department patrol officers received a report of a reckless driver operating a Dodge Ram in Dededo. Police responded and found damage to the front and right side of the vehicle, as well as a flat left tire.

A man approached police and identified himself as Mary Castro Flores’ husband. He said Flores used the Dodge truck to ram his Jeep several times while transporting his pregnant girlfriend.

He stated that although they were still married to Flores, they were in the process of divorcing, according to court documents. He said his wife knew his girlfriend was pregnant, and he then went to Dededo County for an interview.

Police then saw a woman, later identified as Flores, taking items from the truck. They approached her and then took her to the Dededo District for an interview.

According to the magistrate’s report, the man and his girlfriend had previously driven past Flores who was at Fine Store. He then saw Flores following him and trying to avoid his wife, but was unable to do so, the report said. He said his wife stopped next to him, gestured and tried to communicate, but he didn’t participate.

According to the complaint, he made a right turn and said he was rammed about six times. He said he feared for his and his girlfriend’s safety. He said the truck pushed him off the road, and he said he was also scared because he said his wife owns a gun and could shoot him.

Police also met with Flores’ son, whose minor daughter was in the truck with Flores during the chase, and the minor recalled hitting the man’s Jeep several times, according to the complaint.

During her interview, Flores said she suspected her husband had cheated on her when she found a condom, a pregnancy test and a rhino pill in his bathroom trash can, according to the report.

She said she became angry when she saw him with a woman near the Fine store, so she followed him and hit his vehicle several times. She said she regretted endangering her granddaughter, who was in the backseat, the report said.

Flores was arrested Friday and charged with aggravated assault and battery on an unborn child as a second-degree felony, as a third-degree felony of family violence, and as a misdemeanor of reckless endangerment.
