Cardi B struggles to read after teleprompter malfunctions at Kamala Harris’ meeting, then later reads from her phone

Cardi B found herself in an awkward situation when she took the stage at a rally in support of the US presidential candidate Kamala Harrison Friday evening. According to Dailymail, the singer was at the Wisconsin State Fair Park Exposition Center in West Allis to show her support for Vice President Kamala Harris. What happened when Cardi B took the stage

Cardi B took the stage to loud cheers from the crowd, but paused for a few seconds and looked at the teleprompter. Then she started to take off her gloves and said, “One second guys. One second!” Once again, she paused on stage for a few awkward seconds and managed to say, “Okay. So I don’t take the call lightly,” Cardi B tried to speak again and continued, “I’m sorry guys, I’m a little nervous. I’m a little nervous guys, I’ve been waiting for this moment all my life, my whole life.

She then started looking around, seemingly asking her team for help. She further responded to the crowd, “I need patience here, patience, where are you girl? I need patience here!’ She repeatedly shouted, “Are we ready to make history?” Finally, a woman from her team handed her the phone, from which she began to deliver her speech.

Cardi B then said she wasn’t planning on voting this year before Harris entered the presidential race. Before President Joe Biden stepped down as presidential candidate, Cardi had announced she would not vote in the upcoming election and criticized the current administration for sending aid to, as she described, “funding two wars.”

She said: “I had no confidence in any candidate until she entered the race and said the things I wanted to hear – things I want to see next in this country. I believe in every word that comes out of her mouth; she is passionate, she is compassionate, she shows empathy, and most of all, she is not delusional.
