Best and worst dishwasher brands of 2024

To find out which brands make the best dishwashers, we created a statistical model that incorporates the total scores of all dishwashers into our ratings. We looked at how well a particular brand’s dishwashers performed in our lab tests, how reliable and satisfactory they were for the CR members we surveyed, and how easy they were to use, based on the number of features the dishwashers have.

We also thought about the price. If a manufacturer produces dishwashers that perform well in our ratings at a lower price, it will receive a boost in its brand score compared to a brand that produces similar high-performing models at a premium price. For our overall brand scores, we only looked at brands with at least four dishwashers in our current rating.
