Cooler temperatures and windy conditions are the theme for this weekend

Happy Saturday! As we watch our cold front move through the area today, there will be a few showers, but those that see rain won’t catch much. Highs will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s, while humidity will drop later in the afternoon and evening. Lows overnight will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s with clouds breaking up. Sunday will bring cooler air to the area as highs drop into the upper 60s to near 70°, with partly sunny skies. Another day of northwest breezes will continue through Monday before we see a warm-up by mid-week as temperatures will rise from the mid to upper 70s to low 80s. Partly to mostly cloudy skies will be the theme for most of the first full week of November. We could see another chance of rain later in the week and following weekend, but not enough to heal the start of a prolonged dry stretch we see this month.

Something else we’re looking at are three areas in the tropics as we start a new month, two in the Caribbean Sea and one in the deep Atlantic Ocean. One of the areas in the Caribbean Sea has a high chance of development and another area with a low chance. States along the Gulf of Mexico will have to be on their toes as they move into next week. The third area in the deep Atlantic Ocean has a medium chance of forming, but is likely to move towards Spain in the coming days.
