Attack on man in disturbance in Stanley Road, Swanscombe

Police are looking for witnesses to a disturbance in which a man was assaulted.

Officers were called just before 5pm on Friday to reports of trouble involving a group of people in Stanley Road, Swanscombe.

A police spokesman said: “Officers attended and spoke to those present. It was reported that damage had been caused to a property and that a man had been assaulted by men he knew.”

A temporary road closure, imposed during the initial investigation, was lifted later that evening and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
