RUSH Announces New Vinyl Box Set Covering The Album From 1989 Through 1996

For Hast Fans will mark November 1 as a date to look forward to as the legendary Canadian rock band will re-release its influential 1989-1996 albums via a special six-LP box set. Appropriate title The albums: 1989-1996the collection will be available for pre-order via RushBackstage and rhino.

The box set highlights Hast‘s Atlantic Records era, with the albums Presto (1989), Roll the bones (1991), Counterparts (1993), and Test on ultrasound (1996) in one striking package. Each album features redesigned cover artwork, housed in a slipcase decorated with original work by a renowned artist Hugh Symewho designed Hast‘s cover art since 1975.

This box set serves as a tribute to Hast‘s journey before their hiatus in 1997, chronicling their evolution in sound and the loyal following they amassed. One of Canada’s most successful and influential music groups, Hast built a legacy that spanned more than four decades. Known for their complex compositions and thought-provoking lyrics, the band captivated millions of fans around the world, with their live performances becoming legendary thanks to the combination of instrumental mastery and a deep connection with their audience.

The band, whose induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame took place in 2013, has earned RIAA certifications for the third-highest number of consecutive gold and platinum studio albums by a rock band – behind only The Beatles And The Rolling Stones.
