Man and woman face charges after being taken from Davenport home

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – A man and a woman are facing charges after a standoff at a Davenport home Friday evening.

Travis Grubbs, 40, and Tabatha Grubbs, 41, are both charged with interference with official acts, according to court records. Travis Grubbs is also charged with second-degree theft.

Travis Grubbs is facing theft charges in small claims court for failing to pay rent, court documents show. Travis Grubbs will hold a hearing on November 5.

The standoff happened Friday evening in the 5400 block of Ricker Hill Road in Davenport.

TV6 on scene could see and hear police trying to get Travis Grubbs to leave the house. After Travis Grubbs did not comply, police raided the home.

At about 5:55 p.m., Travis Grubbs was taken from the home by Davenport police, TV6 at the scene could see.

At approximately 6 p.m., TV6 was able to see Tabatha Grubbs being pulled from the house at the scene.
