The Chargers rumored trade deadline is detailed in a new report

The Los Angeles Chargers are on the hunt at the NFL trade deadline.

Or at least, Jim Harbaugh and general manager Joe Hortiz are working the phone.

According to ESPN Jeremy FowlerIf anything, the Chargers are browsing through what’s out there: “The Chargers are what I would consider ‘window shopping’ – they like where they are, but will consider options to improve in the coming days.”

That follows – as we wrote this week, the Chargers are the NFL’s most interesting hybrid for rebuilding. They’re getting healthier in the middle of the AFC playoff race…during what should be the first year of a soft “rebuild” around Harbaugh.

Still, Hortiz has been aggressive in making smaller, upward moves, such as signing Poona Ford and trading for Elijah Molden, to name a few.

Looking at the deadline, the Chargers could easily make similar moves to help shore up trouble spots like wide receiver, tight end and depth on defense. A smaller move with advantages to help the battle plans now could be the game, and there are There are plenty of trading goals for them to think about.

At 4-3, the outcome of Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns could decide a lot about how the Chargers decide to approach next week’s deadline.
