Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t hesitate in naming the ‘best atmosphere’ he has played in during his legendary career – Football News

It’s safe to say that throughout his legendary career, Cristiano Ronaldo has achieved pretty much everything there is to achieve, especially on an individual level. He has played all over the world, but one stadium stands out to him the most.

From his early days at Sporting Lisbon to his big break at Manchester Uniteduntil his career-defining period Real Madrid, Ronaldo has actually been there, done that and got the t-shirt.

He has played in the biggest football matches in the world, on some of the most impressive grounds the sport has to offer, and the memory of a certain atmosphere has stuck with him since a Champions League match in 2006.

It turns out that of all the grounds CR7 has graced over the years, his favorite in terms of the atmosphere generated by the home crowd was Celtic‘s Parkhead Stadium.

Ronaldo’s thoughts on the visit to Scotland are shared via Celtic’s official websitewith the legendary player saying: “The Celtic fans are incredible. It’s always great to play there.”

Ironically, the Portuguese star’s first experience of Celtic Park ended in defeat, with a Shunsuke Nakamura free-kick winning the game for the Hoops late in the group stage against Manchester United. In two more games for the Red Devils against Celtic, Ronaldo failed to score a goal for himself, but there too he did not lose again.

The players were talking about that the other day. Vidic and Ronaldo said this is the best atmosphere they have ever experienced.” had ever played.

“Thanks to the supporters, because they don’t half open the roof. It’s clear that the Celtic players are responding to this, given the results they have achieved. You have to run that extra meter or you will be discovered quickly.” by them.”
