Kamala Harris and Jill Stein are virtually tied among Muslim voters: poll

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) released its latest poll on Friday, showing Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris and Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein nearly tied among Muslim voters.

According to CAIRStein has 42% of Muslim support, while 41% support Harris.

The poll shows that 10% of Muslim voters support Trump, 5.4% do not plan to vote and 0.6% support Libertarian nominee Chase Oliver.

“This latest national poll of Muslim American voters confirms that our community members are deeply invested in the 2024 election, with 95 percent saying they plan to vote,” said Nihad Awad, national executive director of CAIR.

“The poll also confirms that opposition to US support for the war on Gaza continues to play an important role in influencing the preferences of Muslim voters,” Awad continued. “Our message to American Muslims is simple: No matter who you plan to support, it is essential that you vote. Don’t sit on the sidelines. Make your voice heard and show the strength of our community in states across our country.”

Stone Butch Ware elected as her running mate in August. Ware is a “black Muslim,” according to Stein’s press release. He is a professor of history at the University of California, Santa Barbara and has said Zionism is “white supremacist.” movement.

The poll was conducted from October 30 to October 31 and surveyed 1,449 verified Muslim voters. The margin of error is +/- 2.5%.
