North Canton police officers rescue deer stuck in fence

NORTH CANTON, Ohio (WOIO) – North Canton police officers rescued a deer from a fence Saturday morning.

According to a post on the North Canton Police Department’s Facebook, around 8:37 a.m. Ofc. Knam and Sgt. Buzzard saved a deer that was stuck in a fence.

Knam is “no stranger to animal rescue,” the post said.

Knam is known in the department as the duck recovery expert because he is on duty when ducks fall down the drain, the post said.
