This is evident from a CBS News report on Airbnb“The owners of the Swift Suite at Evermore Estate purchased the home earlier this spring and worked with an Airbnb host who suggested turning the home into a Swifties paradise.”

Homeowner Kyle Tress told CBS, “We knew that because Airbnb was located in Absecon, we needed a way to attract guests and differentiate ourselves from other Airbnb locations in Atlantic City and neighboring beach towns.”

Airbnb host Krista Baum added: “We wanted to create a space that celebrates the magic of Taylor Swift while providing an unforgettable experience for friends and families to come together to make lifelong memories.”

That certainly worked.

This Airbnb is yet another proof of Taylor Swift’s power to stimulate economies.

Investopedia wrote about it Swiftonomics, which they said “refers to the economic influence of musician Taylor Swift.”

When talking about Swift’s power to boost local economies, people usually point to the impact of her Eras Tour, which has raised more than $1 billion, according to Investopedia.

It’s become a well-known fact that as Swift travels the world, every location her tour stops gets a major economic boost from fans from all over the world traveling to see the show.

According to Investopedia, “one study showed that the average spend for an Eras Tour visitor is $1,327.74.”

Multiply that by the capacity of a sold-out stadium – not to mention the thousands of ticketless fans gathering outside of the stadium – and you have a recipe for a much-needed economic boost.

While the Swiftonomics phenomenon has not been studied in smaller samples, such as an Airbnb targeting Swifties, one can only assume it would have the same effect.
