Jason Kelce’s ‘College GameDay’ kick attempts couldn’t have gone any worse

Despite ‘College GameDay’ asking Jason Kelce to take part in the show’s weekly field goal attempt, the former Eagles center proved he had to study his special teams skills.

Kelce was previously challenged by one of the show’s field goal success stories, after a Cal student named Daniel he made a $100,000 kick in Vans in October.

Daniel, who later partnered with the shoe company, wanted to see the seven-time Pro Bowler accomplish the feat in his Timberland boots.

However, things didn’t work out in Kelce’s favor Saturday morning in University Park, Pennsylvania, ahead of Penn State’s Big Ten showdown against Ohio State.

After the first kick, which had a lot of power behind it but sailed far to the left, one of Pat McAfee’s “GameDay” crew members pleaded with McAfee, saying, “He’s got a chance.” He has a chance.”

McAfee then gave Kelce another kick, but the second wasn’t as strong and shot back to the far left.

That time, McAfee wasn’t so nice.

“This man is stupid! This man is stupid!” he said jokingly.

Kelce even admitted that he didn’t have what it took to win the $100,000 he wanted to donate to hurricane relief.

He said: “I’ve gained a whole new respect…I’m bad at spades, okay!”

However, McAfee announced that the money would still be donated.

“We will donate another couple hundred thousand dollars to hurricane relief, as will (Timberland) and Vans.”
