Former Gaelic football player Jude McAtamney will make his NFL debut on Sunday, serving as the kicker for the New York Giants.

NFL Network reports Tom Pelisserothe Giants placed kicker Greg Joseph on injured reserve and elevated McAtamney from the practice squad ahead of their Week 9 game against the Washington Commanders.

Born in Northern Ireland, McAtamney grew up playing Gaelic football before switching to American football and kicking at Division II Chowan University and later Rutgers.
