Wilmington police are investigating the death of an injured man after a welfare check

Wilmington police said they were investigating the death of a 30-year-old man who was found unresponsive.

Police said they responded to a welfare check in the 1900 block of W. Fourth St. on Friday, Nov. 1 at 11:24 p.m., where they found an unconscious man with an arm laceration.

He was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he died.
