GSPCA organizes first aid courses for cats and dogs

First aid courses aimed at saving the lives of pets are being run by a Guernsey charity.

The Guernsey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GSPCA) said it would host a first aid course for dogs on November 12, along with a session focused on cats a week later.

Both courses will run from 6.30pm to 8.45pm GMT on both dates and will give participants the chance to learn what to do in an emergency situation with their cat or dog, the GSPCA said.

Anyone wishing to attend either session must make a minimum donation of £25 and has been asked to contact the charity.
