Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce respond to Jason Kelce’s shocking altercation with a fan who made homophobic comments

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have come out in support of Jason Kelce following his shocking altercation with a football fan.

Older brother Kelce, who retired N.F.L was at Penn State for a college game earlier this year on Saturday, November 2, when the incident unfolded.

As he walked through the crowd outside Beaver Stadium, a fan directed a homophobic slur at him Travisand recorded himself shouting, “Hey Kelce, how does it feel that your brother is into dating Taylor Swift?”

Footage circulating on social media shows Jason grabbing the phone from the fan and slamming it to the ground.

“Who the f***** now?” ‘ he answers, picks up the phone again and walks away with it.

While the Kelce brothers have yet to officially comment on the incident, a source close to Travis and Swift revealed their reaction.

“Taylor and Travis were both very shocked by this as Jason is one of the nicest guys in the world,” the source told the Daily Mail.

“It really became clear how much he loves and respects Taylor. Travis means everything to him.

“Using the word f***** is not okay with him or anyone else. This fan has crossed the line. Jason will never accept anyone insulting his family and he now considers Taylor family.”

After the images were shared on social media, Jason also received support for his response.

“I shouldn’t say it, but whatever. I appreciate it Jason Kelce standing up for his family,” Quinton Lucas, the mayor of Kansas City, wrote on X.

Meanwhile, former NFL player Antonio Brown wrote, “I mean well for Jason Kelce. There’s comedy and entertainment. And then there’s the line with family.”

Hundreds of other fans also expressed their support for X and commented on the video.

Jason has previously discussed how he is a huge fan of Swift, describing her as “tremendously talented”.

“She is a global star, she is the ultimate artist in the world right now,” he said in February.

“(She is) immensely talented, an incredible role model for young women around the world.

“I think the NFL would probably be foolish not to feature her and be a role model for all the young girls out there.”

Jason’s next public appearance is expected Monday night when he heads to Kansas City to call on Travis in NFL action for the Chiefs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on ESPN.
