Amanda Owen’s daughter admitted she “couldn’t believe it” when she made a strict demand to the TV star.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess, 50, and the rest of the Owen family shot to fame in the Channel 5 series Our Yorkshire Farm in 2018. It followed Amanda, her ex-husband Clive Owen and their nine children as they run the Ravenseat farm in the Yorkshire Dales ran. .

The series ended in 2022, the same year Amanda and Clive announced their divorce after 22 years of marriage.

On Saturday (November 3), Amanda went out Instagram on the occasion of her eldest son Reuben Owen’s 21st birthday.

The photo gallery featured images of Reuben over the years, including images of him riding a pony, driving a tractor, playing a musical instrument and riding a bicycle.

The first image of the post featured a more recent photo of Amanda and Reuben, showing the two smiling as they posed for a selfie. The mother-of-nine wore a gray ribbed turtleneck top, while Reuben kept it casual in a black hoodie and high-vis jacket.

Meanwhile, the final shot captured a young Reuben moments before he ended up in thick mud after falling off his bike.

Accompanying the images, Amanda wrote: “A snapshot of some of Reuben’s past sensations and experiences for him to enjoy on his 21st birthday. His love and dedication to all things horsepower is laid bare.”

The post was flooded with birthday wishes from Amanda’s family and friends, but it was her eldest daughter Raven who was forced to share an urgent message.

“@yorkshireshepherdess I need you to send me the last photo please, I can’t believe we haven’t framed it!!” the TV star noted.

Another wrote: “What an absolutely beautiful photo of mother and son.” A third added: “We looked at your boy yesterday, you must be so proud. He is a beautiful person. Happy birthday Ruben.”

Following on from this, a fourth posted: “Happy 21st Reuben, hope you have the best day,” as someone else commented: “Wow, how did that happen… beautiful pictures. Happy birthday Reuben.”
