Kent County Council: Views sought on a five-year education plan

Kent County Council (KCC) is holding a consultation on its draft education strategy for 2025 to 2030.

KCC wants to focus on improving educational outcomes, improving well-being and creativity and making schools environmentally and financially sustainable.

The concept document also sets out the council’s ambitions to be future-proof, including identifying the threats and opportunities in AI for education and contingency planning.

Councilor Rory Love said: “Ambition, curiosity and resilience are three of the most important things a child needs, both for a successful education and for their future life skills.”
