One dead in Belle Glade shooting early Sunday morning

A man has died following a shooting in Belle Glade at West Avenue A and Southeast 8th Street, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Police say officers responded to Lakeside Medical Center in reference to a man who arrived with gunshot wounds.

The man was then transported by trauma hawk to St. Mary’s Medical, where he died from his injuries.

Details about the suspects and motives are not yet known.
