Whatley calls for strong turnout on November 5: 2024 is a ‘tipping point election’

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley encouraged voters to come to the polls not only for the sake of the country, but also for its impact election could have in the world.

Election Day is two days away, with a battle between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. A RealClearPolitics Wednesday morning’s polling average showed Trump with a slight 0.2-point lead nationally, prompting Whatley to Life, liberty and Levin Saturday to rally voters behind his party’s candidate.

“These are elections at a turning point. What will happen here will not only set the course for America for the next four years; it will determine the courts of the world for generations to come,” Whatley said. “The world is currently going in a bad direction. It is in a dangerous direction. When America is weak, the world is a much more dangerous place. If he wins, he will have a chance to correct everything that is happening at our border. Everything that’s happening with our economy and everything that’s happening around the world.”

Whatley expressed excitement about the early voting data. He predicted that the turnout so far would lead to victories in Arizona, Nevada and North Carolina.

Two weeks after early voting began and four days before Election Day, North Carolina reported almost 50% of registered voters had already cast their votes. However, the state reports that fewer black voters have done the same 17.44% of early votes from this group.
