Tom Holland admits he Googled girlfriend Zendaya because of his ‘anxiety’

Tom Holland revealed that he sometimes checks Google to make sure things are going well with his girlfriend, Zendaya, due to his “anxiety.”

The ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ star opened up about being protective of the actress during a film appearance in Samah Dada’s podcast ‘On the Menu’ on Thursday.

“I’m not on social media and I delete (the apps) when I’m not using (them),” he said. “So sometimes – it’s more of a bit of a scary thing – but I’ll check, just make sure everything’s okay and just make sure we’re all cool.”

“So I just kind of Google it, look (through) the news and I think, ‘She’s good. We are doing well,” Holland, 28, added.

The English actor is notoriously protective of Zendaya, 28, most recently protected her from the swarms of paparazzi at dinner in New York City last weekend.

A video obtained by TMZ showed the “Avengers: Infinity War” star politely moving a photographer to make room for the “Euphoria” actress as they left the Nine Orchard Hotel.

The couple then walked away hand in hand.

That same evening, one social media clip also showed Holland pushing people out of the way after Zendaya, who had stopped to sign autographs, was surrounded by excited fans.

He was then seen pulling the “Dune” star away from the crowd.

The couple matched in maroon outfits for the outing in New York, featuring the ‘Challengers’ star wearing a leather Louis Vuitton dress and Holland with a T-shirt and trousers.

The Bero founder and the Disney Channel alum were first romantically linked in July 2021, when they were cushion photographed in Los Angeles.

They met on the set of the ‘Spider-Man’ franchise.

Holland and Zendaya are known to keep the details of their romance under wraps, but they often give each other sweet public shoutouts.

In 2021, the ‘Uncharted’ star told the Associated Press that his girlfriend provides “company” and a ‘shoulder to cry on’ in the midst of their towering fame.
