London, Ontario, man accused of sexually assaulting teenage girl

A 25-year-old man from London, Ontario, is charged with sex crimes after a 15-year-old girl was allegedly attacked.

Niagara Regional Police also believe there may be more victims in the GTA and elsewhere in the Golden Horseshoe.

Police say the female victim met a man online through the Snapchat app. The man befriended the victim and agreed to meet her in person and provide her with cannabis.

In August 2023, the victim met the suspect in Welland after traveling to the Niagara Region.

The victim was allegedly sexually assaulted in a car while the suspect was driving.

Saad Jalal Ismail Aldakhi surrendered to police in Niagara Falls on Friday. He was charged with sexual abuse and sexual interference.

“As a result of the ongoing investigation, detectives have received information that there may be additional victims in Niagara, Toronto and the GTA,” police said in a news release.

COPS INJURED IN COLLISION

Two Toronto police officers were hospitalized Saturday night after being involved in a collision in North York.

It happened at 8:15 p.m. when a police vehicle was involved in a collision in the area of Hwy. 404 and Sheppard Ave.

One officer was slightly injured, the second officer was taken to hospital as a precaution.

EAST END STABBING WANTED

A man was stabbed on the East Side on Sunday afternoon.

Toronto police were called to the area at 3:48 p.m Purcell Square and Kennedy Rd. due to reports that a man had been stabbed.

Police found a man in his 40s suffering from stab wounds and he was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
