Association believes suspension of bus company activities due to electrocution case is too harsh

“They need to conduct a survey to first examine the bus layout, components, inventory and socket placement.

“Only after it has been determined that the socket on the bus was indeed responsible for the death should operations be suspended,” he said.

The victim, Mohamad Nur Asymawi Jasmadi, 18, died while charging his phone on an express bus from Penang to Kuala Lumpur on Friday, November 1, prompting Transport Minister Anthony Loke to announce the immediate suspension of the bus operator for further investigation .
