24-year-old man shot, killed in Warehouse District; NOPD looking for suspect

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A 24-year-old man was shot and killed in the Warehouse District on Sunday (Nov. 3), according to the NOPD.

The shooting happened in the 700 block of Tchoupitoulas Street.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim had multiple gunshot wounds.

EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Preliminary investigation shows that the victim was approached outside by an unknown person, who opened fire and immediately fled. Initial reports indicate that the man was the target.
