Nicole Scherzinger and The Pussycat Dolls Founder Settle Dispute Over Reunion Tour Cancellation

Nicole Scherzinger And Robin Antinthe founder of The Pussycat Dolls have finally settled their long existence legal battle regarding the cancellation of the group’s reunion tour. The dispute began in September 2021 when Antin Scherzinger sued, claiming that the singer refused to participate in the reunion tour unless she was given full creative control and 75% of the tour’s profits. However, Scherzinger responded with a countersuit in August 2022, accusing Antin of mismanaging funds and mishandling the reunion plans.
According to a recent report from Page Six, the two reached an agreement and filed a notice in Los Angeles on November 1, 2024, in which a settlement “in principle.” While the exact terms of the agreement were not disclosed, this settlement officially canceled the jury trial scheduled for next month. Instead, a hearing has been scheduled for July 28, 2025 to formally dismiss the case.
An insider said Scherzinger, 48, and Antin, 63, had resolved their differences several months earlier but needed time to complete the paperwork. Scherzinger’s legal team previously dismissed Antin’s claims as ‘meritless’, explaining that Scherzinger had only requested adjustments to her contract due to delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. However, in the following months, Scherzinger announced the cancellation of the tour, which reportedly came as a surprise to some of her bandmates.
Band members Carmit Bachar And Jessica Sutta expressed their disappointment, noting that they had not received formal notice of the cancellation and only learned about it through Scherzinger’s Instagram post. In their Instagram Story, they expressed their frustration, saying they were saddened to hear the news online as they had been hopeful about the reunion and were looking forward to sharing the stage again.
Kimberly Wyattanother member of the Pussycat Dolls, also shared her disappointment, revealing that she found out about the cancellation through a fan’s tweet. In an interview with the ‘Sunday Mirror’, she admitted that she was heartbroken by the unexpected news as the group had made big plans, including a world tour and a performance at Glastonbury.
While the legal battle may be over, the end of the reunion tour marks a bittersweet conclusion to the Pussycat Dolls’ recent chapter. Despite the disappointment, the band members expressed gratitude for their past experiences and left open the possibility of future projects, hinting that the story of the Pussycat dolls may not be over yet.
