EastEnders star confirms departure from show as cast pays loving tribute | Soaps

Navin Chowdhry‘s co-stars have paid tribute to him following his departure from EastEnders.

The actor who played Nish Panesar left for two years BBC One soap last week. It was a dramatic exit for Nish, as his final scenes aired on television At the same time, The Six’s storyline came to a conclusion.

As Nish made plans, so did Suki. She told the group of women that if she came back to Nish, he would eventually agree to take the blame for Keanu’s murder.

When the former couple decided wine was needed for their dinner, Suki went to the Minute Mart to get some alone time. After sending Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) home, Stacey arrived looking for an update.

Suki was in tears at the time and told Stacey it didn’t look like that although their plan would work.

As they talked, Nish was alone and became very angry. By the time Suki returned, a furious Nish took out his anger on her, wondering why she couldn’t love him anymore.

As Nish pushed Suki onto the table, Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) arrived. Stacey pulled Nish off Suki as Avani yelled at her grandpa to stop. In the kitchen, the two characters had a conversation as Avani became terrified of Nish’s shady behavior.

She said that even though she loves Nish, she knows Suki doesn’t and that if he has something good in his heart, he will let her go.

Seeing Avani completely terrified was apparently enough to clear the fog from Nish’s mind. For the first time in what seemed like forever, he had actually listened to someone.

With that, Nish left Panesar’s house and instructed The Six to enter the pub. He talked about the events of that Christmas Day and wanted to know exactly how Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) killed Keanu. As the blue lights approached Walford, some of the group thought Nish had called the police on them, but thankfully that wasn’t the case.

At Panesar’s house, Nish spoke to DCI Arthurs and told a big story that made it seem like he orchestrated Keanu’s death. Given his previous conviction after the murder of an old family friend, Nish’s fate was sealed.

Outside, as fireworks lit up the sky, The Six watched as Nish was placed in a police car and driven away.

Now that Nish has left, Navin has spent time paying tribute to his own EastEnders co-stars and more specifically, his Panesar family members.

Navin shared a sweet video of himself, Aaron Thiara (Ravi Gulati), Balvinder and Shiv Jalota (Vinny Panesar) and simply wrote alongside it, ‘Family ‘.

Navin, Aaron, Balvinder and Shiv can be seen hugging and smiling in the small video. In the comments section, Aaron wrote, “Best two years with you on screen Dad ” while Gurlaine Kaur Garcha, who played Suki and Nish’s daughter Ash, said, “Love you on screen Dad. the very best of the best. so happy i shared the screen with you xxxxxx’.

Nish Panesar arrived in Walford in 2022 after spending more than 20 years behind bars for murder. As he settled back into family life, his coercive and abusive behavior resurfaced, forcing Suki to live in fear every day.

Their wedding ended because Suki fell in love with Eve Panesar (Heather Peace).

Over time, Suki eventually managed to free himself from Nish’s clutches, something he refused to accept.

Earlier this year, Nish told the Panesars that he had been diagnosed with a heart condition. Long time viewers of BBC One soap thought Nish’s departure would kill him.

While it appears this could still happen, Nish will now most likely die behind bars.
