GOOD MORNING British viewers were greeted by a well-known soap star as Monday’s presentation line-up was adjusted.

The Kroningsstraatt actor – whose character recently met their fate on the ITV show’s iconic Cobbles – was ready to fill in Andi Peters54, during the competition portion of the weekday program.

Good morning Great Britain host Ed Ballen57, announced Joel Deering actor Calum Lill28, was on hand to present a huge caravan prize on Monday’s episode.

He appeared on screen in a pre-recorded clip in which he donned a striped shirt and carried a breakfast tray as he strolled through a spa.

His brand new television role saw him promote the show’s fall awards package, which he described as “amazing.”

Calum told how the new giveaway – which started today – would see the lucky winner win £70,000 in tax-free cash.

He then said: “But you don’t have to worry about holidays from home as we also offer a Habitat Escapes holiday worth £5,000.”

The lucky winners can choose a luxury spa location in the Cotswolds or Dorset.

Loyal daytime ITV viewers also have a chance to win a super £5,000 spend at a supermarket of their choice as part of the deal, but only if they take part and are 18 or over.

It is Calum’s second appearance after Corrie, after he also revealed he would be starring in a Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime in Bournemouth this Christmas.

In August, The Sun was the first to reveal Calum’s departure from Corrie – after just a year on the show.

Viewers over the past twelve months had recently seen Calum’s character Joel grooming and abusing young girls and being responsible for the attempt to murder Lauren Bolton.

They watched sickly as he drugged her in an attempt to kill her baby – but his plan backfired when she went into premature labor and the baby survived.

Yet the soap villain was subsequently murdered, with his body found in a river.

A Coronation Street source recently told us about the star’s departure from Weatherfield, saying: “Calum has made a huge impact as Joel over the past year, but he always knew it would be for a fixed term.

“He played Joel wonderfully, but all good soap villains need to get their comeuppance and Joel’s is coming very soon.

Corrie episodes at the end of last month were then highlighted a number of potential suspects responsible for the murder of his character Joel.

Loyal fans are there now convinced that they have indicted the murderer – and suggested that one of Joel’s grooming victims is to blame.
