Air France suspends some flights, crew sees luminous object

Air France was forced to suspend flights over the Red Sea after one of its flight crew reported seeing a “luminous object” in the skies around Sudan.

Air France told AeroTime that the suspension of flights across the Red Sea until further notice was a “precautionary measure”.

“This decision follows the observation by a crew of a high-altitude luminous object in the Sudan region,” an Air France spokesperson said.
