What Diddy will eat on his birthday in prison

Sean “Diddy” Combs turns 55 on Monday, November 4, while he will be in prison afterwards be arrested on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The disgraced music mogul is in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while he awaits trial after plead not guilty, but bail is denied.

On his birthday, Combs will have access to fruit, oatmeal, whole wheat bread, cookies, “oven brown potatoes” and spreads such as jelly and margarine for breakfast, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ national menu. Every day, inmates can have “breakfast cake” at breakfast, which starts at 6 a.m., but this is not specific to Combs’ birthday.

Coffee is only served on weekends, and options such as pancakes or French toast with syrup are available on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Lunch is served at 11am. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons National Menu, Monday lunch may include Southwest chicken wraps, chicken tacos, cheese pizza or three-bean chili. Inmates also have access to multiple sides of entrees, such as green beans, rice, salsa or coleslaw. Lunch consists of fruit every day and dessert on some days, but Monday is not one of them.

Dinner is served after 4:00 PM at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Monday dinner menus include menus such as roast turkey, rice, green peas, gravy, whole wheat bread and drink, and fried rice with chicken or tofu, black beans, carrots, whole wheat bread and drink. No dessert is served with dinner.

When Combs has money in his commissary account, he has access to purchasing goods such as Nutella, Snickers, macaroni and cheese and hot chocolate.

On Oct. 10, Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo said the food options are one of the most difficult parts of his life behind bars

“I think the food is probably the roughest part,” Agnifilo told reporters outside a federal courthouse in Manhattan after a status conference. Combs’ trial date on sex crimes charges was set for May 5, 2025.
