Sriimurali Starrer sees decent growth, but still lags behind budget recovery

The Sriimurali starrer Kannada superhero action film Bagheera was released on October 31, 2024, with a lot of expectations. The story is written by Prashanth Neel of KGF and Salaar. However, the film has witnessed a disappointing performance at the box office. Let’s take a look at the box office performance of Bagheera.

Bagheera Box Office Collection Day 4

On the fourth day the film made a good jump. The daily collection was 3.15 millionwhich was the highest collection since the four days following its release. This also resulted in a significant increase in net collections in India. The India Net collection of the film came about 13 crores. At the same time, the film’s gross collection was achieved 15.34 million. Although there was a jump, these numbers are not enough as the film is at a standstill 7 crores short to enter the safe zone.

Bagheera’s budget recovery

The Sriimurali starrer is mounted on a budget of 20 crores. With his current India net collection of 13 croresthe country has managed to recover 65% of its budget. The film needs an even more consistent upward graph in its collection to eventually regain its full budget and enter the safe zone. This can mainly be done through positive word-of-mouth advertising. It also faces stiff competition from films like Amaran, Lucky Baskhar, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

About the movie

Except Sriimurali, Bagheera It also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Prakash Raj and Jagapathi Babu in lead roles. It is directed by Dr. Suri. The music is composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath. The film revolves around a dutiful police officer who becomes a deadly vigilante superhero overnight.
