Karan Johar Says Riddhima Kapoor Apologized To Shalini Passi After Spilling Wine, But The Scene Was Removed From Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives

One of the major highlights from the Netflix show Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives was Shalini Passi and Riddhima Kapoor locked in an awkward moment. Filmmaker Karan Johar has now provided an explanation about this.

In a new video shared on Netflix’s official YouTube channel, KJo, as he is popularly known, is seen explaining how Riddhima apologized to Shalini after he ‘accidentally’ spilled a glass of wine on her dress had spilled during their dinner in Mauritius. The scene later becomes a defining point in Riddhima and Shalini’s equation in the show. Karan also revealed that the apology part was removed from the final print of the show due to technical reasons.

Notably, the scene sparked a major controversy between the two Delhi divas and also raised many eyebrows. Karan said in the new video that Riddhima realized the damage done and later apologized to Shalini, but since the shooting took place at night, the team faced visibility issues while trying to include it in the show.

During the same virtual chat in the video, Shalini narrated the incident and revealed that she would never forget how she ‘felt’ that time. She added that while she continues to meet Riddhima at social events, she will still take time to come to terms with it. Shalini said: “The apology came on day 2 or day 3. I’m fine, I honestly don’t care. Yes, it’s all in the past and I don’t want to see any repeats. I know what happened.” I know how I felt.”

Shalini Passi, an art collector, came forward as one of the most interesting characters in the final season of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. She seemed confident about her choices and was not influenced by others’ comments about her lifestyle. The show is currently streaming on Netflix.
