Coroner identified man killed in hunting accident in Kershaw County

KERSHAW COUNTY, SC (WIS) – Kershaw County David West identified a man who died during a hunting accident at Flat Rock Road.

The victim was identified as 25-year-old Dalton Jordan.

West said Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene of an apparent gunshot wound.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday at Newberry Medical Center.

The case remains under investigation by the Kershaw County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources.
