Man charged after shooting in Marshall County that left victim with life-threatening injuries

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) – A Mishawaka man is facing charges after another man suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting in northwest Marshall County early Sunday morning.

Officers were called to a home in the 3000 block of Tamarack Road around 1 a.m. When they arrived, they found a 20-year-old man who had been shot.

According to police, the man was taken to hospital for treatment of his life-threatening injuries. There is no update on his condition at this time.

22-year-old Cole Enyeart of Mishawaka was arrested for criminal recklessness with a firearm. Two 20-year-olds from Elkhart were also arrested at the scene for underage drinking

The shooting remains under investigation.
