‘The View’s Sunny Hostin Accuses Donald Trump of ‘Sexual Abuse’ of a Microphone

The view doubles the coverage of the 2024 presidential election as America prepares to elect a new leader tomorrow. With November 5 in sight, the Hot Topics table analyzed the closing arguments of both vice presidents Kamala Harris And Donald Trumpwho use completely different tactics to win over voters.

The view played footage from Trump’s Nov. 1 rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin — in which he fumed over technical issues and appeared to simulate a sexual act on his microphone stand – and Harris’ comments about unity and “the next chapter of our history” in Detroit, Michigan.

After the clips ended, Whoopi Goldberg asked her co-hosts how these performances would influence voters in the run-up to the election, including “parents who had to allow their children to watch this fool tamper with a microphone like this.”

Goldberg added, “I hadn’t seen that, so I don’t know why I’m surprised,” while Anna Navarro replied, “Can you imagine what the reaction would have been if it had been Kamala Harris doing that with a microphone? The hypocrisy is endless.”

A stunned Goldberg exclaimed, “Or anyone! Someone! If anyone… I mean, who do That?!”

Sunny Hostinwithout missing a beat, exclaimed, “None but him.” Hostin then said she thinks the candidates’ respective comments “really resonate with voters.”

She explained, “The vice president spoke at a historically black church and she also spoke to Arab Americans in Michigan, which is a battleground state,” and continued, “On the other hand, you have Trump having a meltdown at a rally in Milwaukee, simulating a sex act, in fact, with a microphone. He stated that he should not have left the White House at the end of his term. I mean, I don’t think we should have done that to leave him into the White House, but there he was.

She then added: “You have the vice president offering hope (and) unity, while Trump threatens the press, sexually assaults a microphone and drives around in a garbage truck.”

Sara Haines it sounded laughing: “It is said,” as Hostin asked, “Which one resonates, right, which one resonates?”

The view airs weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
