KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A Kansas City, Missouri, police officer who was struck by a car while riding his motorcycle last month was sent a suicide note Monday morning as he continues his recovery and rehabilitation.

The officer was seriously injured in a crash near the intersection of Gregory Boulevard and Troost Avenue while on duty on Wednesday, October 16.
