Guilty pleas entered in 23rd Judicial District Court from October 28 to November. 1

DONALDSONVILLE, La. (WAFB) – The 23rd Judicial District Court announced the following guilty pleas entered the week of October 28 – November 1, 2024:

ASCENSION PARIS

1. Sebastian Winiger, Alexandria, LA, age 22, pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery and was sentenced to 3 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, after which he was suspended and placed on 3 years of supervised probation placed.

2. Brad Harris, Baton Rouge, LA, age 45, pleaded guilty to theft valued at $1,000 or more but less than $5,000 and was sentenced to 2 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served , with a suspension period, and placed on a 2-year supervised probationary period.

3. Troylia Delmore, Gonzales, LA, age 21, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit carjacking and was sentenced to 10 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended and placed on probation for 3 years to be placed under supervision.

4. Judah Frank-Hagen, El Cajon, CA, age 31, pleaded guilty to simple burglary (2 charges) and was sentenced to 5 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections, with credit for time served.

5. Marshall Nettles, Baton Rouge, LA, age 23, pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and was sentenced to 5 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections, with credit for time served.

6. Cameron Wilkinson, Gonzales, LA, age 21, pleaded guilty to illegal use of weapons, simple burglary and theft of a firearm. Defendant was sentenced to 5 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, suspended, and placed on 3 years of supervised probation.

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Phil Maples and Brant Mayer. Presiding over these cases was the Honorable Judge Cody Martin.

1. Dorian Brown, Pierre Part, LA, age 26, pleaded guilty to unauthorized entry into an occupied dwelling and DWI 1st offense. The defendant was sentenced to three years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, after which he was suspended and placed on three years of supervised probation.

2. Aaron Prestenbach, Sulphur, LA, age 43, pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 1 year in the Louisiana Department of Corrections, with credit for time served.

3. Rendell King, Thibodaux, LA, age 32, pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 1 year in the Louisiana Department of Corrections, with credit for time served.

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Lana Chaney, and the Honorable Judge Keyojuan Turner presided over these cases.

4. Quention Steward, Raceland, LA, age 37, pleaded guilty to simple burglary of an occupied dwelling and was sentenced to 3 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections, with credit for time served. It was ordered that 1 year of the said sentence should be served and the remaining 2 years should be suspended. After his release from prison, the suspect will be placed on probation for three years.

5. Barry LeBlanc, Plattenville, LA, age 59, pleaded guilty to aggravated flight from an officer and was sentenced to 18 months in the Louisiana Department of Corrections, with credit for time served.

6. Dorin Kennedy, Boutte, LA, age 43, pleaded guilty to unauthorized entry into an occupied dwelling and was sentenced to 3 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections, with credit for time served.

7. Jacob Geisler, Morgan City, LA, age 31, pleaded guilty to Simple Burglary and was sentenced to 18 months in the Louisiana Department of Corrections, credit for time served.

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Thomas Daigle, and the Honorable Judge Jason Verdigets presided over these cases.
