Ballston Spa man gets probation after being caught with child sex

A Ballston Spa man was sentenced to 10 years probation for arranging to meet someone he thought was a 12-year-old girl for sex.

Thomas A. Belisario, 41, was arrested in October 2023 after corresponding online with an individual who was actually a state police investigator. He was arrested when he met at a location in Halfmoon.

Belisario pleaded guilty in August to attempted criminal sex acts.
