Man seriously injured after shooting in El Mirage

EL MIRAGE, AZ (AZFamily) — A man is in the hospital after a shooting in El Mirage on Sunday evening.

Around 7:40 p.m., El Mirage police were called to reports of shots fired near Dysart and Waddell roads. Police say a caller reported someone had been shot.

Officers arrived on scene and found a man with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital; his current condition is unknown.

El Mirage Police Department detectives are investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call the El Mirage PD Tip Line at 623-500-3277 or the Non-Emergency Line at 623-500-3000.
