Person killed along Baptist Road, Monument Police investigating as hit-and-run

MONUMENT – According to the Monuments Police, one person died after a collision on Monday morning.

Police said they were called to a hit-and-run crash along Baptist Road around 11:45 a.m. on Monday.

When officers arrived, they found a deceased person at the scene. Monument Police continue to investigate the incident, but have not released any information about a suspect vehicle or how the crash occurred.
